Police have discovered 13 vandalised cars with damage including slashed tyres and scratched paintwork in Glastonbury
The cars were found damaged at Colin White Services garage on Park Farm Road. They were vandalised between midday on Sunday February 17 and 7am the following day.
Many cars were found with slashed tyres and scratched paintwork.
Keith White, Manager at the garage and brother of Colin White, the garage's owner, said: "The person who has done this is a real coward – it's disgraceful.
"It has affected our business and all I can say on the matter is, thank God we've got insurance.
"It is really devastating for me, my brother and my whole family but we are hoping to get to the bottom of it.
He added: "There are CCTV cameras set up at the garage so with some luck, we should catch this cowardly excuse for a human being."
A police spokesman said: "The cost of the damage is significant and an investigation has begun to identify the person responsible.
"We'd like to hear from anyone who knows who committed the damage or saw someone acting suspiciously in the area during the time the damage could have been caused."
"If you can help us please call PC Kelly Ashworth on 101. Alternatively, phone the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. They never ask your name or trace your call."
