Father Christmas and his reindeer visit Glastonbury's new Tesco

Father Christmas and reindeer were on hand to meet customers when they visited the new Glastonbury Tesco store this weekend.

The store, on Wirral Park Road, held a free family fun day from 11am-4pm where children had the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, sit in his sleigh and feed his real reindeer.

Each child also received a special gift from Father Christmas.   

Store manager Stewart Collins said: "It has been absolutely fantastic to have Father Christmas and his reindeer in store, which has been a real treat for both customers and the team."

He added: "I hope customers are now feeling as festive as we are in store."
