Friday School closures in Glastonbury due to heavy snow

Schools across Glastonbury and Street are expected to close tomorrow (18 January) as the entire region braces itself for heavy snowfall.

Some Somerset schools have already announced closures.
Norton Radstock College has already taken the decision to close its doors to students on Friday due to the forecast and Met Office severe weather warning in place.
Sexey's School in Bruton has also announced it will close tomorrow, as has Oldfield School in Bath.
Dozens more schools across Somerset are expected to make similar announcements either tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.
