Glastonbury's Red Brick Building celebrates opening with launch party

Glastonbury's Red Brick Building is finally open for business and this Saturday they are inviting the whole community to their official launch party.

The once derelict structure is finally ready to move tenants in and on Saturday 2 February the building will be jam packed with fun and festivities for over 12 hours.

More than twenty live bands and musicians will be performing throughout the day, including the Avalon free state choir and Shepton Mallet big bang. Hot food and tapas will also be on offer all day.

A fully licenced bar will also be available from 6pm onwards.

As well as live musical performances and great food, a wide range of live entertainment will be on offer all day, including film showings, art workshops, theatre performances by Strode College students and even a magic show.

There is plenty on for children to enjoy as well with arts and crafts activities, face painting, storytelling and children's entertainers.

The event runs from 10am – 11.30pm  on Saturday 2 February 2013. Entrance is free.
