The full line up has been announced for the Godney Gathering.  The superb outdoor event takes place on Saturday 21st July and even at £20 a head the tickets, which go on sale on the 1st March, represent excellent value.  However, between March 1st and 31st early bird tickets can be nabbed at a bargain £16 with no admin fees or booking charges.

The Line Up:

This year there is another double-headliner type bill.  Headlining are the excellent Subways who first turned my head half a dozen years or so ago at Glastonbury - possibly one of the toughest gig's in the world to stand out at!  Along with them will be superb Hoosiers who will please those with a more pop/melodic palette.

Stringer-Bessant, otherwise known as Gary and Jack from Reef return with their unique and soulful brand of blues, and fellow Reef-er Kenwyn House will also be taking to the stage with GoldRay, a band who I have enormous affection for and who extend the variety of music yet further.  Established Mancunian indie-alternative's The Rainband will be bringing a neo-mod feel to the bill which I am incredibly excited about, not having caught them live before, despite their touring and festival credentials.

Last but in no way least are the Young Aviators, an Irish band who now live in Glasgow and who are quickly making quite a name for themselves.  If you don't know the Young Aviators and love a bit of indie pop/new wave surf I strongly urge you to check out their MySpace page.

An extra 500 Early Bird tickets for this years Godney Gathering Glastonbury were added for sale yesterday due to the fact that all of the earlybird tickets had sold out. If you want one of these discounted tickets at just £16 each with no booking/admin fees, you can get hold of them in person from Twilight Zone in Glastonbury or Jaywalk in Street or online from the gathering website at http://tinyurl.com/ckgexyb

Advance tickets for the Godney Gathering go on sale in just 2 days time I see and priced at just 16 quid for cash payments they are in my opinion quite a bargain.

You can buy them from Twilight Zone in Glastonbury and Jaywalk Guitars in Street.

This looks good; I think the line-up may be even better than last year's - although I've not yet checked out the Rainband.
