New town forum on yahoo! groups

G-Well is the new, moderated, apolitical social forum for the town of Glastonbury in Somerset, England.
Membership is open to all who live in and around Glastonbury (whether they can see the Tor or not).
Posting under a pseudonym is not encouraged, nor is the use of unnecessary profanity; as such usage can lead to irresponsible postings, flame-wars, etc., etc.
The forum is open for general discussion on all topics of interest to local residents -- with the single exception of one -- politics, political propaganda, and political campaigning on behalf of any particular group. Any attempt to dominate the forum with a particular political viewpoint will be swiftly moderated out. Persistent transgressors may even find themselves excluded from the forum. (This is due to current levels of irresponsible behaviour on another well-known town forum -- sadly now virtually unreadable due to the behaviour of only a very tiny minority of subscribers.)
To subscribe to the new forum, go to : http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/g-well/ -- we look forward to reading you there.
Anyone wishing to act as moderator for the forum should send details to : g-well @ yahoogroups.co.uk
