The top six male and female trampolinists from the South West were picked to make up the national squad and half of those were chosen from Strode College's team.
Taking place in March 2013, the British Colleges Sport competition finals will be held at Bath university, where the South West squad will be expected to excel across a range of different sports including trampolining, golf and basketball.
At the regional finals the trampolinists performed two ten move routines – a 'compulsary routine' and a 'voluntary routine' in which students could showcase more advanced skills.
In trampolining, contestants are generally marked for neatness of delivery and the difficulty of their routines.
The six Strode College students whose performance secured them a place on the South West squad are Charlotte Male, Hannah Gratton, Alex Grenter, Owen Spender, Henry Carpenter and Ross Shirley.
