Any of you who went to the festival last year will know just how glorious it was to have the entire weekend without so much as a drop of rain. The weather truly makes or breaks the festival, there's no denying that sunshine = happy times and torrential downpours = misery.

Happiness is a sunny day at Glastonbury....
Latest Glastonbury weather forecast.
Having said that, one of the muddy years was one of my favourites - having resigned myself to getting filthy and just dealing with the mud as best possible, it was actually quite fun. I was a bit younger then however.......
Anyway. I've been keeping an eye on the long-range weather forecast for the last week or so, and I do admit, that from now on in, I will start to become quite obsessed by it. In my mind, I have not so much as even considered the possibility of it raining between the 22nd - 27th June. I am practising Positive Visualisation where myself and all my companions are sitting around in the sun, drinking Pimms and wiping sweat from our brows. We are in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops (not the most practical of footwear but it's so hot, what can we do?). One of us is complaining about the lack of shade on site and my friend Nicky has just returned from the shower saying that her hair has dried in the 50 meter walk back to the camping area.
So there you, go - it will be sunny! I'm just waiting for the weather forecasters to catch up with my predicition as at the moment, the long range weather forecast is predicting dry spells interspersed with rain fall. Sigh.
