Situated opposite the Abbey this little tea room is the most old-fashioned cafe in town. Due to its location it can also get very busy, although the unhurried service means this is not a fast food restaurant. Cream teas, local produce and delicious cakes, with cheese scones that melt in your mouth. Popular with regulars and visitors alike this is also good value for money.

ReportSomething of an unusual cafe for Glastonbury in a way, as it is so traditional and where you would take a cream tea as oppose to a tofu burger. Lovely though, cosy and quaint.

ReportAlthough I live near Glastonbury, this is not a regular haunt of mine, but recently I popped in here on a Saturday morning for a leisurely coffee with a couple of old chaps I know from Bath.
It is a busy little place, that is right opposite The Abbey car park and serves traditional cream teas with proper crockery and linen tablecloths.
As it was bustling it did feel a little cramped yet it was very cosy with a fine selection of homemade cakes as well as soups and ploughman's lunch. The waitress service was friendly and unhurried, and the afternoon cream teas look scrumptious. They even do a Sunday lunch apparently, including a vegetarian option, and the premises is licensed too.
