No probs mate. My 58 seems to be needing some solder and a micro pot (be straightforward if it wasn't a radio mic) so youd be better off not using it. A 57 is the same as a 58 if you stick a pop shield on (lessen poping and proximity effect) - the old wired mic's (which I cant find so are prob in my store unit in sparkford) are '58' clones, and are are pretty tinny. Better than nothing (and were once useful for backing vocalists) but even still youd be way better off with a 57. Sorry mate, thought I might be able to help, but my radio mic will just be a hinderence....
