Priddy folk fair seemed to lack in it's usual buzz on saturday day time, we had gone to meet up with old friends and meet new ones, as we were playing in the club tent later in the evening. Now for those of you who don't know the tent is organised by 2 local music clubs, Glastonbury and Wookey hole. and is free entry, i urge you to go there at next years festival. These festivals pull in some big named acts in the main tents, however the wealth of local talent is astounding. on of the first people up was a singer songwriter called Chris Billington and i gotta say this mans style, playing, voice and songs was amazing also another highlight among many Was a trio of a'capella traditional singers who was nothing short of maganificent, even if your not into trad music they are mesmerising. There two pubs in the village the queen Vic and the New Inn, During the Festival these two pubs become awash with daytrippers locals, traveller folk and oh so many music styles. each little corner and nook and cranny is filled with groups of people playing, singing and dancing. so to reiterate on what i said earlier go there, and lots of it is free
