Underground tunnels beneath Glastonbury abbey

I was reliably informed lately that there is a series of underground tunnels which are part of the Abbey grounds and were formed by the early monks as a route to the Tor. It sounds like it could be another Glastonbury myth but I'd love to know if anyone has seen these tunnels!
