I have been studying ufology for some time, and recently come to live in glastonbury. I have seen 2 sightings myself although I cannot say for sure what I saw, I do believe there is something going on. Another experience although not from me - from my ex-girlfriend would confirm to me, that there is indeed something going on. Let me know your thoughts on this

In the past five years, 27 phone calls were made to police detailing different sightings in Glastonbury.

Avon and Somerset Police released details of the bizarre calls they have received about UFO and alien sightings near Glastonbury and Street following a freedom of information request at the end of 2011.

Most involved general sightings of UFOs and aliens, and "alien possessions", while one disgruntled caller blamed the Government for flying saucers in Glastonbury – where twilight skies over the Somerset community are seasonally twinkled with a glut of foreign objects, as festival revellers send Chinese Lanterns into orbit from the site during the summer.

Other calls were more specific in their nature, however, including a complaint by a member of the public in August that they were "stuck in a hospital with aliens and Charlie Kray".

In April 2010, a caller described how UFOs had taken over their sitting room, which had inspired their dog to draw pictures on the windows. The caller went on to say that "saints" were looking through the window.

The force suggested some of the calls may not be genuine, but they highlighted the difficult nature of the work undertaken by its staff.

I've seen a UFO on the Mendips near Wells as was reported in the local press and a national UFO Magazine at the time (1989 I think). I don't believe it was an Alien Craft being one of the grey delta/triangular craft and there was a helicopter circling behind non-threateningly. There was another witness to it also.

Hello Mikkaal. I am also interested in the paranormal. I have had a few possible UFO sightings. Many years ago when I lived in Kent, there was a big ufo seen over a corn field, and the following day there was a crop circle. That ufo was also seen by local witnesses and my girlfriend. She was very scared. The ufo had been sighted going from essex to kent. When others knew about it, I visited the crop circle and stood in it. Very weird sensation. There was a newspaper reporter who wanted more information. Then there a news blackout about it. As far as I am concerened, that was a genuine ufo. I wished I had seen it. The sightings are increasing by the year. Check out a bbc radio presenters account of what he saw while traveling in the early hours. Then some of the strangest sightings on youtube. I have only recently moved to glastonbury from essex, and I hope I will get to see some of this phenomenon myself.
