A concert of Baroque music, featuring works by J.S. Bach, Handel, Biber and improvisation on Renaissance madrigals, performed on flute, violin, viola da gamba and virginals.
Jennifer Bennett studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music in the Hague. She plays with the Amphion Consort and psychedelic folk band Circulus, and has performed with top Baroque orchestras such as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. More recently, Jennifer has also been performing with the Mediaeval Baebes.
Hilary Harmony Davies studied music at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University and flute at Trinity College of Music, London. She plays with Somerset klezmer/gypsy band Tatterdemalion and psychedelic folk band Circulus, as well as writing, performing and recording her own songs. She also performs regular solo classical recitals at venues such as Glastonbury Abbey.
At St John's Church, Glastonbury, on the 9th November at 7.30pm.
