Charity quiz at Glastonbury Town Hall

The Monahans of Glastonbury are holding a charity quiz tomorrow evening at Glastonbury Town Hall.

The accountancy firm have organised this general knowledge quiz in aid of St Margaret's Hospice and around 23 teams of up to four have signed up so far.

Annual General Knowledge Quiz Night organised by Monahans of Glastonbury in support of St Margaret's Hospice at Glastonbury Town Hall on Wednesday 10th October from 7.00pm.

The winners will have their names engraved on the Monahans quiz shield and there will also be small prizes such as bottles of wine for the winning teams.

Helen Bennett, secretary at Monahans and organiser of the quiz, said: "The whole team got together and thought about what we wanted to do for charity and who we want to do it for.

"St Margaret's Hospice is a very local charity and that's why we chose them this year.

"Our fundraising target is £1000 and hopefully we'll raise it tomorrow evening."
