This year sees the EMAC exhibition event visit Glastonbury... an exhibition full of folklore, myth, magic, fantasy and inspiration!
The artists are Alexandra Dawe, Chris Down, Neil Geddes-Ward, Julien Hatswell, Julia Jeffrey, Jacqui Martinez, Kelly Potts Martinez, Marc Potts, Tamara Newman and Gary Williamson.
The exhibition website is emacart.co.uk
The show will feature exquisite fine art paintings, pencil illustrations, character sculptures, carved stone and bone, silver and crystal jewellery, textile collages, clocks, prints, books and exquisite, unique 'one of a kind' artisan craftwork from the artists.
This will be an opportunity to buy original art direct from the artists, meet and chat to us all about our art and inspirations, pick up tips about our techniques... and hopefully we can inspire you to create too!
During the show some of us will be working on our latest pieces of art and all of us will have our sketchbooks on display, along with some of our art materials & 'tools of the trade'. We would love you to come along, meet us and find out more about our fascinating genre of the arts.
We have worked professionally in areas such as fine arts, book publishing, graphic novels, film, TV and theatre, artisan craftmanship... and this brings a unique atmosphere to the exhibition!
Date : 12th and 13th October 2013. Venue : The Assembly Rooms, Glastonbury, High Street, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9DU
