Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is set to raise the temperature at Clarks Village with a sponsored Halloween Firewalk. The Firewalk event will take place at Clarks Village at 6.30pm on Thursday 31 October.
CHSW are inviting people to sign up to take part in this Halloween event to face their fears, achieve what doesn’t seem possible or remember a loved one.
This will be the first time Clarks Village has hosted a Firewalk.
Jen Waldron, CHSW events fundraiser said:
“We’re really excited to be launching Clark Village’s first ever Firewalk. The event is open to those aged 14 and over so if you’re looking for something different to do this half term sign up today! Our Firewalk’s always have a great atmosphere and this year’s will be no exception. We’ll be having a Halloween theme and participants are encouraged to come in fancy dress. Local band, Skintight Samba, will keep the crowd entertained on the night and add to the party spirit.
Participants will get a great sense of achievement at not only having faced their fears, but also having helped local families with life-limited children make the most of their precious time together.”
The evening will start with an inspiring seminar in a private room before participants take to the 800 degrees centigrade burning embers.
