The sixth annual Glastonbury Harvest Show is taking place this Saturday.
The show encourages the community to celebrate nourishing and delicious local food. Glastonbury locals are also given the chance to submit their home produce in a wide range of competitive classes.
Whatever your area of expertise, there is a competition to suit almost everyone, including the Freestyle Bread class, A Jar of Jam competition and Halloween Prize Pumpkins.
The Café Cook-Off will also be held this year which challenges local cafes in Glastonbury to submit a local, seasonal dish for judging.
There is even a competition for the children, who are invited to create an imaginative 'fruit and vegetable creature' to be judged.
All entrants have been encouraged to use locally sourced ingredients and exhibits will be judged on taste, smell, colour, freshness and visual appeal.
A wide range of stalls will be brimming with local produce and stall-holders will be offering advice about local food projects and home-grown vegetables. A raffle will also be held in the afternoon.
The Glastonbury Harvest show will be taking place at the Town Hall on Saturday 15 September at 12.30 pm.
The annual event is supported by a range of local organisations and businesses, including Glastonbury Gardeners' Group, Glastonbury Town Council, Transition Glastonbury, Mendip Community Credit Union, Somerset Community Food and Torganics.
