As we’ve mentioned previously on Glastonbury People, the Glastonbury Festivals organised Pilton Party 2010 takes place on Friday 3rd September at Worthy Farm, with doors opening at 5pm.

Already confirmed to play were Paisley-based singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini and Oxford based indie-folksters Stornoway, and we can now advise that the final two additional acts have been added to the bill.
Leeds based alt-folk-pop quintet Ellen and the Escapades are no strangers to playing in Pilton. They won the Glastonbury Festival's 2010 emerging talent competition held at Pilton Working Man’s Club back in March, and as a result were awarded a Sunday afternoon slot on the Avalon stage (and incidentally also did a turn on the acoustic stage on Saturday) at the Glastonbury Festival.
Indie-rockers In Gratitude are an up and coming four piece from the Bristol area and will soon be releasing a 6 track EP called Only In Youth (which follows their well received debut Moving On.
Tickets for the Party are available now from the Glastonbury Festival office in Northload Street priced at £20.00. There will be no tickets available on the night and all tickets must be collected in person.
All proceeds for the event will, as always, go towards Pilton Village funds.
