A Streetcar Named Desire - Don't Miss This, Tonight & Tomorrow

Director Karen Trevis brings a great cast together for this production which opened last night with two more performances tonight and tomorrow. Recreated as the immortal film starring Marlon Brando, this is one of the most influential plays of the twentieth century and tells of fading Southern belle Blanche Dubois who uinexpectedly appears at her sister's house in downtown New Orleans. With delusions of grandeur, Blanche stands in stark contrast to her brutish brother-in-law Stanley. His determination to reveal her secrets lead her to withdraw further from reality into a world of illusions.
