Come and have a go if you think you're BARD enough

The search for the 5th Chared Bard of Glastonbury has begun! Anyone living within the Glastonbury area can enter the 5th Annual Open Gorsedd of Ynys Witrin and have a chance of being hailed as Chaired Bard.
All you have to do is write an original piece (be it a poem, song or story) on this year's theme of FLIGHT, and perform it in front of our panel of judges. The competition takes place at The Assembly Rooms with the preliminary rounds on the 13th of May and the final on the 19th. Both evenings start at 8pm. A bardic brace of events with keen competition and top notch entertainment.
Entry to the event is by magic hat donation, and if you wish to compete you can either download an application form from www.bardic.org or collect one from The Library of Avalon just off the High Street in the Glastonbury Experience

Hello Nigella,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you, but in the grand tradition of all things Glasto and Bardic it's all quite... erm... fluid at the moment.
But the judges should be (in no particular order): Jo Waterworth, Shamus Joy, Oshia Drury, Alison Hall and Dreow Bennett.
