The Glastonbury Tourist Information centre is centrally located in The Glastonbury Tribunal, a beautiful 15th Century Grade 1 listed building towards the bottom of Glastonbury High Street.
It is a recommended port of call for new visitors to the town and locals alike and its friendly and helpful staff will soon have you in the right direction, or provide tickets to local attractions (often with discounted prices).
I usually find myself popping in at least once a month and invariably find inspiration for something new to do as there is an abundance of information to be found as well as a small selection of gifts, postcards, local produce, books and souvenirs.
The centre is also home to the Glastonbury Lake Village museum which contains artifacts from one of Europe's most famous archaeological sites and provides an insight into every day life in an Iron-Age settlement.
