On a not very pleasant New Year's Day Sunday afternoon, I called into Heaphy's for a coffee. Although the town was quiet, the cafe was very buzzy and busy and the freshly ground coffee was delicious; papers to read while soaking up the vibe it was a relaxing place to spend an hour while waiting for the drizzle to go away!

Delicious pizzas even if you're on a tight budget. Thin crust and more authentic than all the nonsense at lots of the standard pizza outlet. They also do nice breakfasts which will leave you sated till well past lunchtime, in my experience. The staff are really friendly and the service is quick. I don't think there's table service here, though I might be wrong, but whenever I've gone we just order at the counter. It can get busy though, so make sure you get in early if it's a weekend or a particularly sunny day.

ReportSituated right in the Market Place, this is a great little cafe to sit outside on a warm afternoon and watch the comings and goings of Glastonbury town centre. It's often busy, though you can usually get a seat after a few minutes if one isn't available, although the staff do seem to flounder a bit when there is a queue - then again I suppose that is expected in Glastonbury. I love in particular their soya latte coffees.
One of the cheaper cafes in town, with a simple menu: pizzas, breakfasts, chips and the like.
