I can not fault the girls who served us or the food. It was heaven. Only let down was a new age local complaining we had wine with our dinner. 2 glasses! Not only was it my birthday and my day off we had come in to Glastonbury from Yeovil. We had stuck up conversation as you do and he was very rude. Accused me of being drunk and as I quite rightly pointed out I had 2 glasses, his responses was "nether the less". I felt my evening was ruined and that I was judged for having a tipple. He may well have been tea total and drinking water but I still felt like I had been chastised like a naughty school girl. I can not say I want to return to eat there as the wine thing is an issue for me. I will go where I can eat and drink as I choose to, with out lecture from the new age community. Over all the place is wonderful some older hippy clientele aside. Girls though I have to say are stars. Polite, know the menu and we tipped big. I love the new age focus I am a nurse and therapist myself but I do not wish to be preached or made to feel unsociable for having wine. My astonishment was the lecture was coming from quite an elderly gent. It ruined it for me and my husband really. I am all for promoting health and wellbeing, but not bullying and being made to feel unwelcome like that.

Great place, we came across it by accident when I had some friends who used to live in somerset and we went on a nostalgia trip to glastonbury. We walked in and we greeted with smiles and "can I help you" we had a lovely lunch and just sat there and took in the enjoyment of just sitting having a coffee in a ralaxed place. Would recommend it.

A popular and much loved place serving top food in a laid back environment. The staff are all fantastic - professional and with great people-skills. Everyone I know loves this place.

ReportIf your in town and need to avoid Wheat, Gluten or Sugar, then go check them out!
Oh and if you do eat sugar and wheat, I hear that they make a fantastic Chocolate Brownie :)

This is an excellent place to just chill and relax. They do great tea, coffee and hot chocolates are great and the food is excellent. The staff are all nice and ready to take your order. The cookies are delicious and so are the home made cakes.

ReportThis place is great if you either want to go in and have a cup of coffee or a nice meal with your friends. The staff are all very friendly and willing to help you. I would suggest this to any of my friends and family to go in. What more could you want than great food, staff and lovely atmosphere?
Great menu, locally sourced food, inventive and tantalising offerings and in a lovely laid back environment. Always looks busy and is a testament to the reputation of the place, has fast become one of the towns best eateries. Not cheap but worth it for the quality.

ReportWhat a fantastic place, a real rustic feel with lot's of charm and a great atmosphere. I went for the Sausage and Mash with onion grave and root vegetables, the plate came piled high and the quaulity and tast matched. The home made cakes and cookies where amazing. I spoke to Mathew (the owner) he was really nice and he explained where they sourced the produce and how it was cooked. His team are a credit to him. I will be returning and I would be happy to bring guests and clients.
Many Thanks for a wonderful lunch
