Good value from our only remaining fruit and veg shop

Good value and outstanding quality produce alongside a friendly service from the last local veg shop that has recently relocated from the Gauntlet to BenedIct Street. Definitely worth supporting and the slightly bigger new premises are much more inviting. Lovely

Fruit and Veg Shop

Just to tell you,that the shop as now moved to 16 Benedict Street and is open for buisness. It happened on Monday last. They promise the same friendly service and is the only independant fruit and veg shop in town.
Well worth a visit.

This unit in the Gauntlet arcade may be compact and bijou, but there is a great selection of fruit and vegetables laid out inside and outside at the front of the store. This is the only greengrocers in the town and it is well worth a visit. The quality is very high and the prices are reasonable; jacket potatoes are some of the biggest I've ever seen and tasty too, and the bunches of carrots and leeks are great value.. Alongside the fruit and veg there is also a selection of things like homemade chutney. Definitely worthy of your custom.
