I joined the Train Station to lose weight last year, i joined very ethuastic but after a couple of weeks I lost my motivation. For a women in her mid 40s I found it a very intimidating place to go, I now go to the gym at St.Dunstans, it is much friendlier and they have even got me doing Zumba.

As a non-gym lover, it takes something for me to get into a routine with that sort of thing. The Train Station can appear daunting from the outside, but in actual fact, its really friendly, the people are helpful and there is a wide range of facilities and classes on offer.
I would recommend the Train Station for its equipment and service. It gets really cold in chilly weather, and seems to hold on to the heat when the sun has been out, so just make sure you dress appropriately.
